The Tribunal provides Canadian and international businesses with access to fair, transparent and timely processes for the investigation of trade remedy cases and complaints concerning federal government procurement and for the adjudication of appeals on customs and excise matters. At the request of the Government, the Tribunal provides advice in tariff, trade, commercial and economic matters.

The Ontario Labour Relations Board is an independent, quasi-judicial tribunal mandated to mediate and adjudicate a variety of employment and labour relations-related matters under a number of Ontario statutes. olrb home page Over the past decade, the Board has had to face an increase in legislative responsibility along with directives for significant economic restraint.

The Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada is a quasi-judicial body established pursuant to the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada Act. The Tribunal replaces the Civil Aviation Tribunal which was established under Part IV of the Aeronautics Act in 1986. Its jurisdiction extends to the marine and railway sectors.

Public Hearings The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal holds public hearings to inquire into complaints of discrimination which have been referred to it by the Canadian Human Rights Commission. Up to 15 Tribunal members - a full-time Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson and 13 full- or part-time members from across Canada - are assigned to hear and adjudicate all cases that come before the Tribunal.
