  • LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF SASKATCHEWAN
    S4S 0B3 SASKATCHEWAN, 2405 LEGISLATIVE DRIVE

The Legislative Assembly, which is our province's parliament, plays a vital role in the life of every citizen in Saskatchewan. Every person is bound by the laws passed by the Members of the Assembly and there is no higher authority that is able to amend a statute. In essence, government power must be exercised through the Legislative Assembly and all laws must be introduced in the Assembly by a Member elected by the people. Therefore, Saskatchewan citizens have an important role to play in their province's development: indeed, it is their democratic right to elect a new Legislative Assembly at least every five years. An understanding of parliament and how it works, both in terms of its role and processes, would make one of our most basic institutions more relevant to everybody.

Rather, it is a constant process embraced by every team member who assembles a Lexus. Quite simply, the philosophy of Kaizen means that every worker who helps build an RX 330 in the Cambridge facility has the potential to improve it. After all, who better to recognize a small improvement here or a new convenience there than the very people who assemble these vehicles every day? And while each of these embellishments may be small, it is the attention paid to the many small details that eventually add up to perfection.
