QC, 385, RUE SHERBROOKE EST, H2X 1E3 MONTRÉAL | (514) 499-4058The SAREL laboratory was established thanks to funding principally from the CFI (Canada Foundation for Innovation) and from the VRQ (Valorisation-Recherche Québec). These funds, obtained in 2002 with the Chairs, allowed the SAREL to purchase and to set up a server, terminals, appropriate software for spatial analysis, and specialised databases. The laboratory was inaugurated in September 2004.
