  I consigned my car to Graham Auctions. I drove the car in and towed it out. I later found out that the car had been intentionally sabatoged to get lower sale value. Since the car was locked the entire time it was on the lot and they were the only one with access it's apparent who is responsible and just to reinforce the type of people you are dealing with I received the following e-mails when I issued complaints about what had been done

  "I remember yourcar you are the nut case with the older car (junker for pick n pull ) anyway we have contacted our solicitor re this advert for slander read your contract and signs are posted at your risk,,"head case "

  and the second e-mail

  "ps did pick n pull give you $50 more than double what is worth,, nutter

  there is bucks auto salvage too

  • grape:If you are thinking of consigning to an auction house, go to an auction first to see how the 'stock' is treated by the customers and staff. And check out the customer base - the cheapest guys in town! Reg@l, Gr@h@m are poor at best and fees very high - I would only use on LAST RESORT if I was desparate to sell.
