Detailed description:
After nearly 17 years of fighting for environmental justice, in September 2007 we officially changed our name from Sierra Legal Defence Fund to: Ecojustice Canada. It is a name that clearly reflects the environmental and legal elements of our work and, equally important, it differentiates us from other organizations. While our name and look has changed, our work remains the same. We have carried on taking polluters to court and continue to fight for the right of all Canadians to a healthy environment.
