Worst Insurance company ever. When my insurance is up I am switching. My mother was in an accident and it wasn't her fault. Her claims agent treated her like garbage. He was rude and at one point told her she can "say goodbye to her car".
August the first was our accident. Today is October the 10th...still not finished the claims. There were 5 agents looking at the accident and the medical claims. We were passed from one agent to the next in the beginning. The car agents (2) were the most efficient. It took them 3 1/2 weeks to come up with a figure and a cheque was sent to us by mail! Another agent dealt with the medical and attached clothing. We are still waiting for her to complete her reibursements. Some items of clothes items of apparel she said will not be covered even though we were told by other agents we would! Another agent was covering things attached to the vehicle when it was in the accident. This is finally completed Oct. 8th/16! All agents did not return calls several times and did not return numerous emails. Indeed we are still waiting for the last agent to respond to us for medical and clothing....two weeks now. Are we happy about the service? Some agents took holidays and did not tell us or pass on info to someone to look after us! One star is being generous.
I would never recommend this company to anyone, terrible service, the claims advisor never called back after leaving numerous of messages. You get a letter of waiver, than a reservation of rights, but no one calls back about the claim. Letter also says the reserve the right to close file without compensation, regardless whether they carry out an investigation or not, Does that even make sense to be insured by this company. Do yourself a favor to shop elsewhere.
Obviously, this company is listening to the negative comments and since the most recent comment of March 8/11, things are much better. I recently had a claim that was handled much more professional than previous reviewers, but the adjuster wasn't quite as professional. It took him several days, which eventually turned into almost 2 weeks to approve the repair. The office contact that I had was professional except a delay in replying to a charge that I had paid and submitted for reimbursement. Everything was completed to my satisfaction. I rated this claim as a 4 star because of the above comments.
by far, the worst insurance company i have ever dealth with. i spoke with other memebers and they feel the same way.
the worst customer service and the worst service that has ever been provided by a car insurance company.
they should really look into their terrible phone manners!!!
